The Graduate Resource Center, along with our partners from the Center for Teaching and Learning and Graduate Studies, cordially invite new graduate students to attend the Spring 2017 Jump Start Orientation. The Jump Start is designed to complement departmental orientations, providing information and resources from across campus. This semester’s Jump Start will feature two panels: Key Resources for Graduate Students, which will cover funding, university libraries, GRC services, and Professional and Academic Workshops (PAW); the second panel, The Graduate Student Experience, features current graduate students sharing tips and strategies for success and ways to enjoy the local community. We will also have resource tabling from Student Health and Counseling (SHAC), Parking and Transportation (PATS), the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA), Graduate Studies, the Graduate Teaching Academy, the Project for New Mexico Graduates of Color, and others.
